As I already mentioned when I talked about the main tools, the secondary tools also have a central importance in our magical practices.

Within this categorization we will find the ropes, the incense burner, our bowl of water and salt, the altar candles, stones, herbs, the bolline (white handled knife), the images of the god and goddess, etc.

Not all of these secondary tools will participate in all of our rituals. It is true that some of them will be common to all rituals if we are Wiccans, but some others will have a specific use.

The fact that they are secondary tools indicates that they may not be on our altar or in our circle in a given ritual. And taking into account that our altar on which we perform the rituals is something that we generally raise and remove at the end of our magical activity, it is not necessary to remind you that an altar cluttered with tools that you will not use is not practical for any witch.
